Joseph Oubelka

Joseph Oubelkas, born and raised in a small Dutch village called Raamsdonksveer is a successful IT engineer until his life takes a bizarre turn in 2004. He embarked on a business trip to Morocco, and without any evidence or investigation he was sentenced to ten years on inprisonment for a crime he didn't commit. Despite the efforts of the Dutch authorities, Oubelkas was still sentenced to prison for years. During the harsh and unjust life in various prisons, Joseph still builts some very special friendships. He shares this story in his book 400 letters from my momr. Since the publication of the book in 2011, Joseph provides lectures and presentations to government agencies, schools, universities and businesses at home and abroad and has been able to inspire and motivate tens of thousands of people.

As the sequel to his best-seller 400 letters from my mom, his second book book, Health, Love, Freedom was published in 2014, in which he describes the struggle with a free, but skeptical world.

In his lectures, Joseph Oubelkas tells in an intriguing way about his trials and his urge to survive. With his audience he shares how he has learned to turn his anger and frustration into something positive, and he highlights the essence of mental survival strenght. Wherever Joseph goes, his audience will be captivated from the very first moment. In his lectures, themes as 'leadership', 'dealing with change' and 'handling adversity' will all be addressed.
