AMBER Alert, the dutch nationwide alert system for urgen cases of missing children and child abductions, on www.e-plu.nl
Through an AMBER Alert, information about acute missing or abducted children is automatically shown on the website of EPLÚ.
In case of a missing or abducted child, an AMBER Alert enables the police to immediately warn The Netherlands nationwide, through PC and television screens, websites, e-mail, sms, instant messaging, television and radio. The greater the range of these messages,the larger the reach of these messages, the more people see the detection posters, the greater the chance that a child is found (in time).
